THE last of the Lent Talks takes place on Thursday, April 14 at Elim International Centre, West Malvern, when the theme of the Moral Maze in Medical ethics will explore Truth Telling. Coffee is at 7.15pm, followed by the talk at 7.45pm and questions at 8.30pm. The Lyttelton Well Bookshop will have books for sale on the theme.
The Good Friday procession of Witness takes place in the Malvern Link on Friday, April 22, commencing at Handyman House in Spring Lane at 9.30am, and processing to the URC Church for a service at 10.30am.
Members of the churches in Great Malvern will be processing to the Priory when the outdoor service takes place in the Priory Grounds at 11.15am when Reverend John Barr will lead the devotions.
The church of St Leonard’s at Newland invites members of Churches Together to join in the singing (or be part of the congregation) of Stainer’s The Crucifixion on Passion Sunday, April 10 at 6.30pm. Tenor parts will be sung by Richard Weatherill, Colin Roy will be the accompanist, and Charles Allsopp will sing bass and lead the choir.
A Coffee Morning on behalf of the Church Mission Society is being held on Saturday, April 9 at 25 Richmond Road, Malvern Link from 10am till noon. There are on sale cakes, preserves, books, cards etc plus material on display about the work of CMS.
