On Wednesday, April 13 Kim and Bob Hurst will be talking about Cottage Garden Plants. Kim and Bob run The Cottage Herbery nursery near Tenbury Wells. Plants will be for sale.

Loxter Ashbed Quarry Launch Day. After extensive works by the Wellington Heath Ashbed Conservationists a launch day has been arranged for Saturday, April 16 at the Memorial Hall followed by two accompanied walks to the quarry where a full explanation of the geology of this important site will be given. This event will be of special interest to teachers and leaders of local interest groups who will be able to arrange accompanied visits in the future. The day will involve two sessions starting at 11am and 2pm in the Memorial Hall. Where displays of local and worldwide geology will be exhibited. Members of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust will be present to answer any questions. There will also be activities for children. Light refreshments are available. The two accompanied walks will commence at the hall at noon and 3pm. Entry is free. Geology is always at your feet. Come and find out more about it.
