I HAVE to agree that the reduction in height of the wall fronting Malvern Community Hospital is indeed a bizarre plan.
I cross over that entrance on a regular basis and have NEVER had any difficulty - in fact it is a much better crossing than many on main or side roads. It may well be a good idea to put double yellow lines on the Worcester Road - the hospital car park never looks busy.
I do have a suggestion - if the wall has to be reduced why don't we all go along with a bucket, collect a lump or two of granite, climb to the top of the Beacon and deposit it. This would surely give us a MOUNTAIN status much quicker than taking buckets of earth!
