THE Conquest Theatre, Bromyard, will offer audiences the chance to see three original plays recently performed during the Hereford County Drama Festival all on one night.
The ‘shorts’ will be performed during the Theatre’s ‘mini-festival’ on Saturday, April 10, from 8pm.
Just up Your Street, by Tony Baker from Hereford Young Farmers, gained overall second-place, also picking up the Champagne Award, the Bishops Plate for Best Setting, the Oswin Cup for Best Novice Play and Best Producer.
The Fox, by Tim Kenny from Allensmore Young Farmers, won the Wye Cup for third-place as well as the Best Individual Youth Performance for Elena Crapper.
Bromyard talent will be represented by Janet Hugman, whose play Rumours was praised and is described as great fun for players and audiences alike.
