HOUSING advice is now readily available in Upton upon Severn following the introduction of a new advice drop-in service from Elgar Housing Association.
Elgar staff will be visiting the Hanley Room in the GP surgery at Tunnel Hill from 10am-noon on the first Tuesday of every month to offer advice and information on housing-related issues.
They can discuss matters such as housing options, private tenancies, mortgage problems and debt awareness, as well as offering advice to young people leaving home, homeless people and anyone whose relationship has broken down and is concerned about their housing situation.
Elgar spokesman Gay Lloyd said: “We are very pleased to be able to offer this advice service at a time when more and more people are facing problems making ends meet.
“We are hoping we will be able to offer advice on all housing issues and would urge people to come along and see if we can help. If we can’t answer your question then we will always be able to find you someone that can.”
The drop-in service is run on an appointment basis. For more information or to book an appointment call the housing needs team on 01684 579579.
