TO mark Rogation Sunday, when the crops are blessed, a special parish service was held in the barn at Hayswood Farm, Madresfield, by kind permission of farmer (and Church Warden) Chris Bennett.
In spite of wet and windy weather the service was well supported; the reading was by Val Levick and Lindall Brown played the music. The address was given by Martin Harbor who introduced an element of magic to illustrate food and fishes in the Bible, while the inquisitive cattle looked on.
Martin will be in action again at St James’ Church, Callow End, on Saturday, May 30 at the Magical Breakfast to celebrate Four in Faith from 10am till noon. All welcome to this free event.
