MAY I through your letters page warn disabled motorists that they now have to pay for parking in the Corn Market car park in Worcester.
A friends of mine was horrified at being issued with a parking ticket there, but was told the ruling came into force on May 1 and he should have read the notice at the entrance. He went back to look at the notice which is hung up high and if, like him, you have a car in front of you, you are watching that vehicle, not craning your neck to read a notice board.
It is ill positioned and another notice should be placed where the disabled spaces used to be.
Where else in that end of the city can the disabled park? Double yellow lines perhaps and cause congestion!
