PENDOCK School grounds once more plays host for the annual fete on June 6 at 2pm. All usual stalls. There is also a garden quiz that you can enter. Cost £1, entry forms from Pendock village stores.
Another successful fund raising weekend for the participants of the open gardens. Four gardens were open in and around the village and this attracts a steady stream of visitors over the two days. EAch garden visited was unique and obviously a lot of love and hard work has been put in to get a quintessential country garden that was not only beautiful but peaceful with the backdrop of the Malvern Hills as an added bonus. Wonderful cakes and a lovely cup of tea was also on hand and most visitors enjoyed a quiet sit and chat with the owners of the gardens.
The gardeners would like to thank all thos e who supported the event and hopefully this will be repeated in the future with additional gardeners being inspired to join. A little over £800 was raised. Berrow/Pendock churches and Acorn Children's Hospice will benefit from this splendid result. Thank you also to the volunteers who helped with teas and washing up at the various homes. Every little helps. Well done.
