UPTON in Bloom’s annual Duck Race will once again be taking place during this weekend’s Upton Folk Festival.
At 5pm on Sunday (May 3) dozens of plastic ducks will be released from the bridge in Upton before racing their way down the River Severn.
Ducks cost £1 each, available from The Launderette, Cromwells or during the Folk Festival and the owner of the winning duck will receive £75. Second and third prizes are £40 and £20.
