MALVERN Town Wanderers u10s had a good victory over local rivals Newtown Sports Juniors.
On a sunny and windy morning, Wanderers began with a strong breeze at their backs and led at halftime 2-0.
Both goals were scored by Taine Lockhead with good work from Charlie Bijl, Elliot Hawkes, Joe Magrath, Luke Prosser and Elliot Hawkins.
The second-half served up a lot of exciting football on a superb surface at Barnards Green Cricket Club’s ground.
Wanderers began with a fantastic goal from Taine Lockhead set up by Mark O’Neill.
Then Newtown hit back with a superb strike and were pressing until Taine added his fourth goal.
Newtown scored another but Wanderers were not for catching and good work from Elliot Preece, Dylan Beale, Hayden Bell and Jack Cale ensured a well-deserved victory for the hosts.
