NEWTOWN reached the final of the u14s cup with an excellent performance against Bromyard.
The hosts had to be patient in the first-half as they came up against a determined and well-organised Bromyard team who defended well to limit Newtown to a number of half chances.
This was until an excellent left-wing run from Sam Colbourne who crossed for Tom Yates to give Newtown the lead just before the interval.
In the second-half Newtown started to impose themselves on the game creating a number of chances before Jack Davies scored the second.
Shortly after the same player ran from halfway to score an excellent third goal.
Bradley Heron grabbed a good fourth. With five minutes to go Bromyard scored their goal, but the was still time for Ed Hunt to add a fifth for Newtown.
