THE first-half was a close affair, but the young Badgers' team eventually grabbed hold of the game in the second-half to run out worthy winners on Saturday.
The first goal of the game was to come from Badgers’ frontman Nathan Gaiderman, who pounced on the loose ball and from an acute angle shot into the empty net.
Almost immediately from the kick-off, Ombersley levelled the score.
Spurs’ second goal saw Nathan Gaiderman receive the ball just outside the penalty before turning and using his pace and power to drive past the home defence before delivering a firm left-foot shot into the bottom corner of the Falcons goal.
Sam Hawthorn hit a first time shot that took a deflection before registering his team’s third goal.
The fourth goal for Spurs saw Nathan Gaiderman supply the finishing touch from close-range.
The visiting wide men were now enjoying themselves as they linked up well with striker Nathan Gaiderman, and both almost fashioned good chances for themselves, which required last ditched defensive blocks.
The good linkage with Nathan Gaiderman was to prove the catalyst for the final goal.
Ben Meredith did well to hold the ball up before playing a short pass into the feet of Nathan Gaiderman.
The visiting forward used his pace to burst past two defenders and then calmly used the outside of his left foot to roll the ball past the advancing keeper and into the back of the Ombersley net, for his fourth, and the Badgers’ fifth of the game.
