President Kagame came to open the Community Centre that the Conservative team had built at Kinyinya. He is seen by the West as an effective leader. He grew up in a refugee camp in Rwanda and led the invasion of the country to stop the genocide. He has focussed on healing the wounds of genocide, reducing poverty and good governance. He thanked the volunteers for all their hard work and asked the residents of Kinyinya to look after the community centre.
After the speech, the volunteers played a football match with the local lads on the new football pitch.
