The Mayor of Malvern is getting some practice in ahead of a charity quiz night for a youth organisation.
Cllr Marilyn Birks was left speechless after being quizzed by a 12-year-old, who asked: "What is an ailurophile?".
The mayor admitted: "I can't believe I was stumped by the question as I am an ailurophile but didn't know there was a term that describes being a cat lover."
The charity quiz, in aid of Cube Youth, is coming up on Friday, December 13 at Victoria Park Bowling Club.
Teams of up to six can participate for £2.50 per person.
