A care home is asking well-wishers to send Christmas cards to its residents.
The Springs Bupa Care Home in Malvern wants community members to send messages of festive cheer to residents and staff this Christmas.
The care home team believes that receiving a Christmas card can boost morale, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging.
They hope to spread joy and create a sense of togetherness during the festive period.
The cards will be opened and placed around the home for everyone to read and enjoy.
Maria Willis, home manager at the care home, said: "Sending and receiving cards is a tradition that many of our residents love, so this Christmas we wanted to make them feel extra special by showering them in cards from people from all walks of life.
"We know that receiving a card full of festive well wishes would really mean the world to our residents this year.
"It’s a small gesture of kindness which would have such a positive impact, providing residents with a great sense of warmth, support, and togetherness – the ultimate definition of festive cheer."
The home is located on Spring Lane and welcomes residents in need of dementia nursing or residential care.
Anyone wishing to send a Christmas card can post one to the following address: The Springs Care Home, 27 Spring Lane, Malvern, WR14 1AL.
