THE CAVALRY will be out along Worcestershire's roads as another inch of snowfall in the county looks to be on its way.
Ringway Worcestershire, the highway maintenance and infrastructure service in Worcestershire, will send out their gritters along Worcester's major routes to keep roads safe as temperatures drop below freezing.
A spokesperson from Ringway Worcestershire said: "Road surface temperatures will be dipping to -3.1c with a potential of 1-3cm of snow then sleet later.
"Therefore, our gritting team will be out from 6pm to treat all primary, secondary and snow plus routes.
"Please travel carefully if you are out."

There is less certainty between organisations on whether snow could be back in the county for another round.
The Weather Outlook has a zero per cent prediction for snow in Worcester, while the Met Office expects there could be a small amount of snowfall tomorrow morning (Friday) in the north of the county.
However, neither had forecast the snow which hit Worcestershire overnight between Tuesday (November 19) and Wednesday (November 20).
