These will take place on the stages in the Priory Church grounds, the crossroad stage area at the bottom of Church Street, and the BBC Hereford and Worcester stage on Belle Vue Island.

There will be circus-themed workshops from Mark at Solo Circus, fairground-style rides and stalls, and craft and food traders.

Santa will also be in his grotto at Great Malvern Library, with entry priced at £3.50.

All the money collected will go to the Mayor's charity, Cube Youth.

The School of Larks will also provide circus performances and workshops at the Coach House Theatre, with two shows at 1pm and 2.45pm.

Spaces are limited, so booking is essential at £5 per family.

A maximum of two adults and three children are allowed per family.

The town's Christmas lights will be turned on at 5.30pm, with guest appearances from Mark James and Phillip Arran.

This will follow the annual Christmas parade at 5.15pm, starting at the bottom of Church Street.

Marilyn Birks, Mayor of Malvern, said: "I can’t wait to welcome the people of Malvern to a day of festive fun.

"Starting at 10am, we are hosting many family-friendly activities, performances and workshops throughout the day at multiple locations across Great Malvern, including meeting Santa at Malvern Library, taking part in the circus workshops at The Coach House Theatre and wandering around the mini market at Belle Vue, plus much more.

"There will be something for everyone to enjoy on November 23.

"I look forward to seeing you all there."
