A Malvern camera club has appointed a new chairman.

The Beacon Camera Club has appointed Granville Orange as its new chairman.

Mr Orange, who has lived in Malvern for 39 years, takes over from Simon Pugh.

In the past, Mr Orange has been president of Colwall Rotary Club and chairman of Worcestershire Ambassadors.

The club is the second largest photography club in the Midlands, with more than 100 members.

It runs a busy schedule of events and meets every Thursday at the Vale Community Centre at 7.30pm with a guest presenter.

New members are welcome.

The club has been running for more than 40 years and has more than 100 members.

It celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023.
