1. The Drum and Monkey
The best pub on the Malvern Hills according to TripAdvisor, the Drum and Monkey on Newbridge Green in Upton Upon Severn is a beautiful 17th-century pub and restaurant with a real traditional feel inside and out.
It serves a wide range of real ales on hand pump, including offerings from Malvern Hills Brewery, Ledbury Real Ales and other guest breweries.

A varied menu is on offer at both lunch and dinner time, serving locally sourced food.
There is also a beer garden with a covered smoking area and it is perfect for those who want to warm up during the winter, with a real fire roaring this time of the year.
It currently boasts a 4.5 out of 5 rating on TripAdvisor.
One satisfied customer wrote: "The landlady was welcoming and friendly and the food was brilliant.
"My husband had a pie and I had homemade lasagne, we both had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert. Every bit was delicious."
2. Weavers of Malvern
Coming a very close second, Weavers of Malvern on Church Street is best known for serving an everchanging selection of real ales, craft beers, ciders, wines and spirits.
Back in May, Weavers of Malvern was named Worcestershire's pub of the year by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
Its extremely high reputation is reflected by its 4.5 out of 5 score on TripAdvisor.
One customer wrote: "I love reviewing places that deserve to be recognised and this is one that does."
Another said: "Wow, just wow.
"Wonderful ambience, wonderful surroundings, amazing staff and the beers on offer are absolutely delicious and at a reasonable price.
"If you like ‘proper’ beer give it a try."
3. The Water Cure
Head further down Church Street and you will find The Water Cure.
It is a family-run, independent venue which takes inspiration from Malvern's rich history and the ‘healing power’ of the town's spring water.
Although the venue doesn't serve food, it more than makes up for it through its tailor-made, Water Cure-themed cocktails.
It joins the illustrious list of having a 4.5 out of 5 rating on TripAdvisor.
One customer described it as a gem in Malvern and incredibly well-priced.
Another added: "I’m not in Malvern often but whenever I am I have to come here.
"It’s a gorgeous place, the staff are really friendly, the drinks are incredible and reasonably priced."
4. Yew Tree Inn
This traditional country pub is so well-liked it is the only one on this list to boast a flawless 5 stars out of 5 on TripAdvisor.
The Yew Tree Inn on Walwyn Road serves local ales, ciders and even Guinness on tap.
The dog-friendly venue has also been praised for its cosy atmosphere, especially during the winter months, with a roaring fire keeping people warm.
Homemade steak and ale pie tops the meals list, but there is also a range of vegetarian dishes.
And those with a sweet tooth can tuck into homemade desserts including cheesecake and bread and butter pudding with custard.
One punter said: "I had a lovely walk on the hills followed by a delicious meal at this local pub.
"I highly recommend it for all those thirsty walkers."
5. The Anchor
This popular watering hole on the Main Road in Kempsey offers great quality, affordable pub food in a friendly atmosphere.
The family-friendly pub also has a large beer garden and a safe environment for the little ones.
And they aim to entertain the punters over a weekend with live music every Saturday and a quiz night every Sunday.
One satisfied customer said: "I popped in for lunch and found the owners to be welcoming and the pub-style food was a good price."
