AN EASTENDERS star will be a special guest at Malvern's Christmas lights switch-on.
The Great Malvern Christmas lights switch-on will take place between 10am and 6pm on Saturday, November 23.
Ellie Dadd, who plays Amy Mitchell in EastEnders, will be among those switching on the Christmas lights.
Miss Dadd, who joined the BBC soap in 2022 playing the daughter of Jack Branning and Roxy Mitchell, will be starring as Princess Rose in the Sleeping Beauty pantomime at Malvern Theatres.

Malvern’s favourite funny man, Mark James, who will be playing Chester the Jester in Sleeping Beauty, and Phillip Arran, who will star as Nurse Nora, will also assist with the lights switch-on.
There will be live performances on stages throughout the day.
The Belle Vue Terrace stage will feature live performances between 11am and 6pm.
At 5.15pm, the annual Christmas parade will begin at the bottom of Church Street and will lead up to the lights switch-on.
There will also be live performances between 12.30pm and 4.15pm on the stage on Church Street, while there will also be entertainment on the Priory Church grounds between midday and 4pm.
Between 1pm and 4pm, the Malvern Theatre Players will be joining in the festive fun with live circus performances and workshops at The Coach House Theatre.
Malvern Library will be welcoming the man in the big red suit as Santa's Grotto will be inviting youngsters to tell Father Christmas their lists.
Father Christmas will be at the library handing out presents between 10am and 4pm.
The library will also be the place for families to enjoy some fairground rides at the same time.
For those wanting to buy some early Christmas presents, there will be plenty of craft stalls available to shop around at the library and Belle Vue Terrace.
And there will be plenty of food and drink traders selling treats at the library and Belle Vue Terrace throughout the day.
Town Mayor Cllr Marilyn Birks said: “I can't wait to welcome the people of Malvern to a day of festive fun.
"There will be something for everyone to enjoy.
