A stage show parodying one of the world's most beloved sitcoms is coming to Malvern next year.
'FRIENDS! The Musical Parody', a hit New York and Las Vegas show, is set to embark on a major UK and Ireland tour, with a stint at Malvern Theatre from Sunday 24 to Friday, November 29, 2025.
The musical comedy, which is being put on in assocation with the Barn Theatre in Cirencester, is packed with iconic moments from all 10 seasons of the television series and features an original musical score.
The creative team behind the production includes Bob and Tobly McSmith who wrote the book and lyrics, Assaf Gleizner who composed the music, and Andrew Exeter who handled set and lighting design.
Iwan Lewis, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of the Barn said: “We’re beyond thrilled to team up with our friends and partners Mark Goucher, Matthew Gale and Oskar Eiriksson to bring FRIENDS! The Musical Parody to the Barn.
"As part of our 2025 strategy to attract new audiences, this show is the one that promises a night full of laughs and fun. Could we BE any more excited for next summer?”
Mark Goucher, one of the producers, said: "We are looking forward to working with Iwan and his team creating this brand-new production which will then tour the UK and Ireland."
Full cast details are yet to be announced.
