A CRASH involving four vehicles on the motorway led to major disruption.
Traffic was heavily delayed on the M5 Southbound up to Junction 6 this morning (Thursday) after a crash occurred involving four vehicles between Junction 7 and Junction 8.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were at the scene and reported no injuries.
A spokesperson for WMAS said: "We were called to a multi-vehicle collision on the southbound M5, between junctions 7 and 8 at 6.43am.
"One ambulance attended the scene.
"However, on arrival it was discovered there were no patients requiring treatment and we were stood down."
West Mercia Police said four vehicles were involved in the crash.
A spokesperson for the force said: "A collision was reported on the M5 between junction 7 and 8 southbound, involving four vehicles at around 6.45am this morning.
"There were no injuries reported and the vehicles were moved on to the hard shoulder."
