A Malvern venue was packed to the rafters as it dove into a talk by a world-renowned water researcher.

Christchurch Hall hosted New Zealander Veda Austin, who included Malvern in her recent UK tour at the invitation of Malvern Dowsers.

Austin illustrated her talk with samples from her own and students' experiments.

Her experiments showed how water can communicate and interact with humans, reproduce imagery in ice, and display recurring designs when frozen.

These designs, Veda argued, reflect the quality and source of the water.

Freshly collected spring water, particularly that with an alkaline pH, showed a more harmonious life force than processed tap water.

Austin has found healing applications for this property and emphasised that we, as humans, are mostly composed of water, and that resonances can be transferred by proximity.

In another experiment, water exposed to 5G radiation and then frozen displayed extreme stress patterns.

However, when thawed and refrozen, it progressively reverted to a healthier design, suggesting that water may have a flexible capacity to self-heal.

Austin's research opens new avenues for exploring the properties of water.

Next month, Malvern Dowsers will host Carly Tinkler from the Malvern Spa Association, discussing renovation projects involving wells and springs.
