A Malvern costume store has reopened after a refurbishment.

Malvern Theatre Players' costume store, now spread over two floors, is open for business once more.

Sharing space with a scenery workshop, props store, and archive, the store is managed by Gill Young and her team.

The store offers a variety of costumes, from vintage to fancy dress, available for hire for stage shows and other events.

The costumes, representing various periods, have been acquired over the theatre group's 50 years of operation, including more than 200 main-stage productions and numerous donations.

As well as providing costumes for professional and amateur stage productions, the store caters to a range of events, including themed and corporate events, cruises, murder mysteries, re-enactments, parties, school plays, and proms.

The store also provides costumes for the Goodwood Revival.

The costume department is open for booked appointments on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, with the possibility of other times by special arrangement.

As a non-profit organisation staffed by volunteers, hire charges are kept affordable, with special deals available for community and education events.
