PARKING charges set to reintroduced at two county hospitals have been delayed.
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust announced that car parking fees at Malvern Community Hospital and the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove will be delayed until Monday, October 28 - two weeks later than planned.
On its website, the trust says that "due to factors beyond our control" the reintroduced parking payment system will no longer come into effect on Monday, October 14 as originally planned.
The reintroduction of parking fees at both hospitals comes after charges were paused during the covid-19 pandemic.
According to the trust's website, parking fees at Malvern Community Hospital and the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove will be the same and range from £2.50 for two hours to £4 for over four hours of parking.
The parking fees are set to apply to both visitors and patients.
