THE best in the health and social care industry across Worcestershire celebrated a year of success at a glistening award ceremony.
Guests arrived at The Bank House in Bransford suited and booted to find out the winners of the annual Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards 2024 - organised by Newsquest, publishers of the Worcester News in conjunction with Aspris Fostering Services.
The award ceremony on Thursday, September 19, saw 13 awards given to some of the industry's most dedicated and hard-working people.
The night's overall winner was Behind The Smile who won Outstanding Contribution to Health and Social Care and the Mental Health Award.

- GP Practice of the Year - Wolverley Surgery
- The Good Nurse Award - Claire Smith from Birmingham Children`s Hospital
- The NHS Team of the Year - The Care Transfer Hub
- The Mental Health Award - Behind the Smile
- The Dementia Carer or Team of the Year - Kim Henshaw from Ashwell Home Care Services
- Child & Adolescent Health Care Award - Kim Philpotts from What Makes You Different Makes You Beautiful
- The NHS Hero Award - Nicki Henderson
- The Healthcare Employer Award - DKL Health Care Ltd
- Palliative / End of Life Award - Acorns Children's Hospice
- Care Home Worker or Team Award - The Gables Rest Home
- Domiciliary Care Worker or Team Award - Garry Lingham from Ashwell Home Care Services
- Oral Health Care Worker or Team Award - Dr Sukhvir Lyall from Upton Dental Surgery
