THREE popular Malvern pubs have been named in the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide 2025.
Weavers of Malvern, The Nags Head, and the Morgan have all been listed in the celebrated guide, which lists 4,500 of the best pubs across the UK.
The Morgan, named after Malvern's famous car factory, was described by CAMRA as having an open-plan interior with comfy settees in a slightly raised seating area.
Judges also praised the Clarence Road pub's full range of beers as well as its guest craft kegs.
"Brewery and car pictures decorate the walls of this Wye Valley brewery-owned pub.
"The landscaped patio has ample seating. Activities include a monthly book club and weekly quizzes.
"The TV is only turned on for major sporting events. A ramp can be requested for wheelchair access to the main bar."
Meanwhile, The Nags Head on Bank Street was applauded for its selection of drinks, which includes three permanent beers and guests from around the country as well as two draught ciders.
The beer guide added: "Nooks and crannies filled with mismatched furniture and foliage provide a homely environment and the pub is busy throughout the week.
"Several fires burn brightly in winter.
"Quality food is served in the bar and separate restaurant, which has level access (though the bar does not).
"There is a large, covered, heated outdoor area to the front and a quiet garden hidden away at the rear.
"The car park is small, but there is ample on-street parking.
"Dogs are welcome and numerous."
Weavers of Malvern on Church Street made its way into the Good Beer Guide for its wide selection of real ales as well as the comfy sofas, dartboard and board games that are available upstairs.
"Modern craft and draught ale bar in a former shop, level access to the bar and ground floor.
"A few tables are outside on the street in summer and a patio garden to the rear.
"Five handpumps serve real ales and two dispense draught still cider, plus there are five craft keg lines.
"No food is served, but you can bring your own and cheese nibbles are served on Sunday.
"There is no car park, but plenty of parking is available around town."
