A new stage writing competition has been launched for Malvern writers.
Malvern Theatres and Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham, are collaborating to launch the competition for writers based in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Herefordshire.
The competition is part of the new Three Counties Talent Hub (3CTH), an arts development programme aimed at nurturing and providing a professional platform for creatives in the region.

All entries must have a strong connection to Malvern and/or Cheltenham.
The winning piece will be workshopped in Malvern and performed in both Malvern and Cheltenham.
Fred Moroni, Malvern Theatres executive director, said: "We are excited about the launch of Malvern Theatres' Three Counties Talent Hub, or 3CTH as it's already better-known, and the impact it will have for creatives working in our region.
"As well as providing a platform for local writers, this scheme will benefit the wider cultural industry, launching a new piece at a time when it's never been more needed."
Paul Milton, Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham creative director, said: "Cheltenham Everyman is delighted to work with Malvern Theatres on this exciting new project, which gives a unique opportunity for a local talented playwright, or writing team for that matter, to showcase their work in two major theatres, but to also launch their name and work into the wider theatre world."
The piece, suitable for at most three performers, should have drama as its primary form, but may include music, physical theatre, or other movement.
The writer or writing team will also receive royalties from the performances.
Taking part is free and 3CTH welcomes scripts from writers of all ages, all levels of experience, regardless of background, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
