A Worcester man has been charged with possession of a knife, possession of a controlled drug and obstructing arrest following an incident at a city pub.
Paul Gill, 35, of no fixed abode was charged in relation to the incident at the Oak Apple pub in Spetchley Road in Worcester on Friday afternoon.
Gill appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ court today (September 23).
Police swarmed The Oak Apple pub where a man was tasered and eventually arrested as children made their way home from nearby primary and high schools.

Students at Worcester Sixth Form were reportedly put into lockdown on Friday while police responded to an incident at The Oak Apple pub in Spetchley Road.
Police had been called to the pub after reports of a man with a knife at just after 3pm.
