AN unattended garden bonfire in a village had to be put out by a fire crew before it could spread.
A crew from Upton attended the fire in the open at St Gabriel's Terrace, Hanley Swan at 8.14pm on Thursday.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "An unattended bonfire in a garden was extinguished using one hosereel jet.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required. The incident was marked as pending closure at 8.58pm."
