POLICE swooped into a street to arrest a wanted shoplifter from Malvern.
The 55-year-old was wanted for numerous thefts and was found in Barnards Green in Malvern.
Police officers had gone to the area and arrested the man who remains in custody.
A spokesperson for Malvern SNT said: "A 55-year-old Malvern man who was wanted by police for numerous thefts was located in Barnards Green at 4.15pm yesterday (Thursday) by PCSO Karen Watson and PCSO Kev Tudge.
"Officers attended the area with the man being arrested and taken into custody."
