A Malvern choir packed with young voices is looking for new members as it hosts its open rehearsals.

Young Chorale, based in North Malvern, plans to hold an open rehearsal with free admission for the 45-minute event.

The event, called 'Bring a Friend Friday', is targeted at children aged seven to 12.

Accompanying adults are encouraged to stay for the auditions, with refreshments available.

A spokesman said: “Young Chorale has been around for a couple of years now and the Choir has gained a reputation for its clarity of sound and how well the singers blend.

"All are welcome to attend the event at which there will be songs you have heard before and some new ones too.”

The choir will host the auditions on Friday, September 20 at 6pm at Holy Trinity Church.
