A NEW café in Malvern's Victoria Park is promising to bring something different to the town.
Candy Harris, from Malvern, said she is excited to put her heart and soul into her new Bilberry Café, which she is aiming to open by mid-October.
Although she has been in the catering business for over 17 years, this is the first time Ms Harris has been able to open her own café.
The Bilberry Café will be stationed in Malvern Town Council's new community hub in Victoria Park.

Ms Harris has previously been running an outdoor catering business, travelling all across the country.
However, following Covid, when a lot of her events were cancelled, Ms Harris was granted permission to open her outdoor catering business in Victoria Park.
It was around that time when the new community hub was being mooted, and Ms Harris expressed her interest in running the new café once it was completed.
Almost four years later, she has been given the green light, and she is now working on creating her dream café.
The menu will include speciality coffee, posh paninis, toasted sandwiches, brownies, freshly baked cakes and Bennetts Milkshakes.
Ms Harris is also planning on making the café fun and involving the whole community, with ideas ranging from hosting birthday parties to events teaching youngsters how to cook their own pizzas.
She told the Gazette she also wanted to try something different with her café, such as her unique gelato ice cream.
"I love Malvern, I am so used to travelling and I always love coming home, I am at the stage now where I want to settle down.
"I have always had my eye on opening a café in the park, it is right around the corner from me and I know if I put my heart and soul into it I can make it work.
"A café is definitely needed in the park, I had regular customers when I was based there four years ago and I would love to see them again.
"The feedback since I announced I was going to open the café has been really positive, I have started up my Facebook page and am building my café from scratch- I am so excited."
