A CAR had to be recovered after it crashed into a wall outside Malvern Cemetery.

The white BMW crashed through the brick wall next to the cemetery's car park entrance on Tuesday afternoon (August 20).

Two recovery vehicles were at the scene on Madresfield Road with workers lifting the vehicle out and onto a flatbed.

Much of the front of the vehicle had been damaged in the impact.

A large part of the brick wall has been damaged and will need replacing as well as the metal gates that had to be bent to remove the car.
