They also provide insights into periods such as the Bronze Age, the Roman era, and World War II.
The project was developed in collaboration between Persimmon and Malvern Radar and Technology History Society, who lent their in-depth Malvern knowledge to help create the boards.
The housebuilder's South Midlands' managing director, Russell Griffin, said: "What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in and preserving their history wherever we can.
"Installing these boards at our Malvern Rise development allows us to celebrate the history of the town whilst developing new places to live."
He added: "The installation will also allow residents and passers-by to learn some more about the development, and what came before."
