The Rocky Horror Show is coming to Malvern Theatres this October.
The show is set to take place in Malvern from October 7 to October 12 as part of a 2024/2025 UK tour.
Comedian Nathan Caton, known for appearances on 'Live at the Apollo' and 'Mock the Week', has taken on the role of the 'Narrator' in Richard O'Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll musical.
Mr Caton said: "I am incredibly excited to be part of this production.
"The Rocky Horror Show is a legendary piece of theatre and I look forward to bringing my own spin to the Narrator.
"It’s going to be a wild, fun and unforgettable ride.
"I can’t wait."
Stephen Webb, having played the iconic role of 'Frank N Furter' in the past, both on tour and in the West End, is returning to the cast.
The rest of the cast includes Connor Carson, Lauren Chia, Job Greuter, Natasha Hoeberigs, Jayme-Lee Zanoncelli, Morgan Jackson and Edward Bullingham, among others.
The globally popular Rocky Horror Show continues to captivate audiences with its infectious energy, outrageous characters, and enduring musical numbers like 'Sweet Transvestite', 'Science Fiction/Double Feature', 'Dammit Janet' and of course, the timeless floor-filler, 'Time Warp.'
The show's story revolves around Brad and his fiancée Janet, two students who by chance meet Dr Frank N Furter when their car breaks down outside his house.
Since its inception in 1973, the show has been an unstoppable force in contemporary theatre, with its impressive longest continuous run of a contemporary musical anywhere in the world.
It has been seen by over 30 million people worldwide and has been translated into 20 languages.
The show was successfully adapted into a film, 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' in 1975, starring Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon.
The film adaptation took over $135 million at the box office.
Household names such as Russell Crowe, Jerry Springer and Meatloaf have appeared in the production over the years.
Please note that the show is known for its 'fun and naughty moments' so it may not be suitable for all.
Tickets are on sale now at RockyHorror.co.uk.
