THERE are big events ahead at a town arts venue starting this month.

Malvern Cube presents the Line-up Festival 2024 organised by Severn Arts on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25.

Last year a full day of experimental and adventurous music attracted a diverse audience of regulars and music lovers from afar.

The event was a remarkable success so this year takes place over two days featuring bands, arts workshops and food and drink from suppliers in the area.

Artists range from drone music to folk and even spoken word.

The Shovel Dance Collective, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Dunning and Underwood, Gwenifer Raymond. Sipho Eric Ndlovu with David Austin Grey and Aidan Pope Trio perform on Saturday. Sunday brings Richard Dawson, Alison Cotton, Eliza Marshall, Michael Valentine West, Milkweed and Able Noise.

Single-day tickets are priced at £15 and a two-day pass is £25.

On Saturday, September 14, the Albert Road North centre hosts The Pontiacs presented by John Banner Promotions with rock and roll favourites from yesteryear.

On Tuesday, September 17, Malvern Storytellers take to the stage where people can tell a story or just come and listen with suggested themes.

Then on Friday, September 20, Roving Crows, an award-winning Irish folk rock band from Worcestershire known for energetic performances, visit The Cube.
