A MALVERN hotel will be rented out to large groups for long weekends as it responds to the “changing demands” of tourists.
The Holdfast Cottage Hotel in Little Malvern will continue to book out individual rooms during the week (Monday to Thursday).
But now a change-of-use application has been approved by Malvern Hills District Council, it will be let as self-contained accommodation to larger groups from Fridays to Sundays.
According to planning documents this will give the hotel “greater commercial flexibility, reflective of the changing demands of the tourist accommodation sector”.
