PLANS to replace a dilapidated shed with a new chiller and butchery unit have been put forward.

The applicant wants to replace an old wooden shed at Welland Lodge Farm, near Upton, that housed a fridge used to store venison.

They say the replacement unit looks similar to a shipping container but will be “forest green” in colour and contain a “bespoke game chiller”.

It would also feature a rainwater storage system.

According to planning documents: “The proposal has the support of the Malvern Hills National Landscape Partnership as the applicant is actively engaged with a project to support and enable the better management of woodland priority habitats within the National Landscape and surrounding areas.”
