THE LIBERAL democrats have run their best campaign in West Worcestershire since 2005, says their candidate Dan Boatright-Greene.
Mr Boatright-Greene said his party has focused on getting back on the map and showing a positive alternative to the other parties.
But he added it was all to play for tonight in West Worcestershire and said no one knew what could happen.
He added: “We have run an incredibly big campaign, from our perspective we are coming from a low base and think we’ve made big strides.”
The Lib Dem’s will win 61 Parliamentary seats if the exit poll is correct.
Mr Boatright-Greene told the Gazette he would feel like dancing around the University of Worcester Arena if that turned out to be the case.
But he added, with Labour set to get a supermajority despite getting less than 50 per cent of the national vote, that proportional representation was essential.
