REFORM UK may have a platform to ‘build their case for the future’, says the party’s West Worcestershire candidate Christopher Edmondson.
Reform are projected to get 13 seats in parliament according to the exit poll.
They have also won enough votes to beat the conservatives to second place in Sunderland South and Blyth and Ashington.
Mr Edmondson said: “The exit poll is very good and I’m very pleased.
“This will give Reform a platform to build their case and vision for the future, if that includes people like Nigel Farage and Richard Tice it will be a platform they can build on.
“The opposition will be non existent, it will be a small opposition so something needs to change.”
Mr Edmondson added it was highly unlikely he’d overtake Conservative Harriett Baldwin to take the seat in West Worcestershire, even if her majority drops, but added if he got 5,000 votes he’d be happy.
