POLICE armed with speed cameras were on a busy Worcestershire road near a school this morning checking for speeding drivers.
An officer from the Priory and Wells Safer Neighbourhood Team conducted speed enforcement on the A449 Wells Road, near the Wells Primary School, on Saturday morning.
The road is used by drivers travelling from Malvern to Ledbury.
Police also targeted Hanley Road in Upton-Upon-Severn.
Police issued no speeding tickets throughout the morning, with all drivers on both roads keeping to the speed limits.
A spokesperson for Priory and Wells Safer Neighbourhood Team said:
"If you have any concerns about speeding where you live, please get in touch and your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be willing to talk about it and conduct a safety check of the area to see if speed enforcement or monitoring can be conducted."
