A MAN has been banned from riding motorbikes for a year after being caught on a farmer's field.
The 22-year-old was seen off Mayfield Road on a Malvern farmer's field riding the motorbike without permission.
He was issued a section 59 warning notice for the incident which happened on June 8 at 7.35pm.
A spokesperson for Malvern SNT said: "The field is owned by Madresfield estates who do not give permission for anyone to ride or drive motor vehicles on the land.
"Over the years, people who have ridden motorbikes on the field tell Police that they have permission from the landowner; we know that this is simply not the case.
"We want that message to go out to those who are thinking of doing so, you do not have permission.
"The area is used by members of the public to walk their dogs and there has previously been criminal damage caused by such actions.
"Such actions are likely to cause alarm, harassment and distress."
