A DRIVER is due to face trial after he denied using a handheld mobile phone while driving on the motorway near Worcester.
John Reynolds is accused of using his mobile phone while driving his Citroen Relay on the M5 between junction 8 (Strensham Services) and 7 (Worcester South).
However, the 36-year-old of Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster, has entered a not guilty plea and the case has been adjourned for the trial at Worcester Magistrates Court on July 25 at 2pm.
The alleged offence is said to have taken place at Whittington on August 31 last year.
