According to the cancer charity, one in eight men will get prostate cancer, and often experience bladder and bowel issues as side effects of the treatment.

Additionally, approximately one in three men over the age of 65 have urinary incontinence problems in the UK.

The campaign seeks to bring about change by raising awareness of male incontinence and highlighting the need for sanitary bins in men's toilets.

The campaign is urging for a legal update making it compulsory to have sanitary bins in all male toilets across the UK.

The council's public toilet blocks are in Upton upon Severn, Malvern, and Tenbury.

Malvern Theatres have also put these provisions in place within their facilities.

Cllr John Gallagher, portfolio holder for resources at the council, said: "We are really pleased to be supporting this campaign.

"It is important that men are given access to sanitary bins in public toilets to help and support with any health needs they may have."
