A travel writer who has travelled thousands of miles across the UK and Ireland guest spoke at the Malvern Dowsers public meeting.
Author, photographer, and poet Phil Cope has spent years visiting, documenting and photographing holy wells, springs, and spas across the British Isles and Ireland.
At this month's gathering, Cope shared stories and images of the historical sites, discussing their rise and fall in popularity throughout the years.

He drew attention to the sometimes neglected state of these sites, in contrast to successful renovation projects like at Tenbury Wells.
Cope believes the locations have value beyond water sources, offering healing properties and insights into our ancient past.
He calls for treating the sites as invaluable historical monuments, deserving of respect and preservation.
In the next Malvern Dowsers meeting, a day workshop will be held with a theme of healing with Lisa Fullbright Cossey, a shamanistic practitioner.
