An award-winning comedic adaptation of an Alfred Hitchcock spy thriller is set for a Malvern performance.

Olivier and Tony Award-winning comedy 'The 39 Steps', will will be performed at the Festival Theatre on Friday and Saturday evening (17-18 May).

It follows the daring adventures of the quintessentially British Richard Hannay and features four actors playing 139 roles in 100 fast-paced minutes.

The moustachioed hero comes across dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents and devastatingly beautiful women on his high-energy adventure.

The Crown star Tom Byrne will lead the production as Hannay.
