A POPULAR beauty salon says its customer care is key to it being voted as the best beauty salon in the county.
Belle Beauty, of Worcester Road in Malvern, has been honoured with a prestigious Muddy Stiletto award for the best beauty salon/clinic in Worcestershire.
It offers a wide range of services including skincare, laser hair removal, blemish removal and various beauty treatments.
The salon received confirmation of its award earlier this month after more than half-a-million people's votes were cast nationwide.
It marks the second time the salon, which was established back in 2009, has received such recognition.
"It's absolutely fantastic," said Belle Beauty founder, Lucy Watkins.
"There was such a high benchmark against the other salons, but what sets us apart is that we work so, so hard.
"So it is fantastic to be recognised as the staff have done so well.
"The whole team is delighted with this award.
"We truly love what we do and work hard to provide our customers with the best treatments and service.
"These awards give us a boost and are a great honour to be a part of."
Mrs Watkins put the award down to a number of reasons, but was particularly praised the salon's customers.
"The customers, I'd say - after all the award is voted by customers," she said.
"We have a high standard of customer care and that I would say is our greatest strength."
But it wasn't just the customers who Mrs Watkins wanted to give credit to, as she paid tribute to all the staff at Belle Beauty.
"The staff are amazing," she added.
"How professional and knowledgeable they are and giving customers five-star treatment.
"Everyone goes above and beyond and they are extremely passionate about it.
"Thanks for everyone that has voted.
"We will continue to work at a high standard and strive to work hard and provide great customer service."
Mrs Watkins will represent Belle Beauty at the awards on Thursday, June 6 in Cheltenham at the Nook on Five restaurant where the salon will be officially crowned as the Best Beauty Salon for Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
Regional winners automatically go through to the National Finals where the Muddy Stilettos Editors will judge who is the ‘Best of the Best’ in each category, announcing the National Winners on July 11.
