An award-winning adaptation of a story of friendship in war-torn Afghanistan is set to visit Malvern.
After a widely praised Broadway season and two successful West End runs, 'The Kite Runner' will stop off at Malvern Theatres for a five-night run between Tuesday, May 28 and Saturday, June 1.

Based on Khaled Hosseini's bestselling novel, the audience watches as inseparable friends are torn apart by a fateful kite flying tournament in Kabul, and the life-changing incident that follows.
The play has received international praise for its poignant narrative.
Matthew Spangler's adaptation of the narration is directed by Giles Croft, bringing heart-wrenching experiences and diverse cultures to life on stage.
Stuart Vincent will reprise his role as Amir, with previous credits including 'The Play That Goes Wrong' at the West End and 'Romeo and Juliet' at the Orange Tree Theatre.
He is joined by Yazdan Qafouri, known for roles in 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'Othello', stepping into the shoes of Hassan/Sohrab for the production.
Dean Rehman returns to play Baba, after a recent performance in 'Everyman' with Trifle Gathering.
Award-winning Bhavin Bhatt, who won Best Newcomer at the Asian Media Awards, reprises his role as Assef.
Daphne Kouma, Tiran Aakel, Ian Abeyesekera, Christopher Glover form the rest of the cast.
