POLICE are investigating what they believed could be a hate crime after water balloons were thrown at two people.
A group of male youths on bicycles targeted two members of the public on Avenue Road in Malvern, verbally abused them, and threw water balloons.
A spokesperson for Malvern SNT said: "An incident occurred on Avenue Road, Malvern, between 9 and 9.30pm, on March 22.
"Police are appealing for witnesses.
"This is currently being treated as a hate crime.
